Sitting with Guitar

  1. You Should Sit on the front edge of your chair with your back straight.
  2. Next, place your guitar on your right leg. You could also cross your right leg over your left or place your right foot on a footstool to slightly elevate your right leg if that is more comfortable for you.
  3. With the guitar balanced on your right leg, bring it in close to your body with the neck pointing at a slight upward angle.
  4. Let your forearm rest on the upper edge of the guitar

Standing with Guitar

Have a good guitar strap and adjust it to a comfortable height for yourself.

How to Hold a Guitar Pick

A guitar pick is a piece of plastic in the shape of a triangle.
