FOUR-FINGER EXERCISES

This article is an extension of the three-finger exercises. ” Guitar Exercises for Beginners “

The completion of these exercises has the same intention – which is to improve your finger speed and dexterity, allowing you to play songs that are more complicated and learn techniques that are more difficult. In addition, if you are a more advanced guitarist then these exercises are useful to warm your hand and fingers up so you can be stuck into those songs you have been learning.

On this page, you will see a variety of exercises to practice, written in a tab. If you are not familiar with tab then please read the “How to Read Guitar Tab” article first.

TECHNIQUE

I will repeat that bad technique is one thing, which will hinder your progress as a guitarist.

It’s extremely easy to develop bad technique, but very difficult to correct once you have it. This lesson encourages good technique, and you should practice these exercises as much as you can.
With good technique, you can learn more material easily, and improve your ability much faster. If you want to become a brilliant guitarist as fast as possible, then the trick is to have good technique.

It’s quite simple, just pay attention to a few easy rules.
